The pre-game BBQ begins at 11 a.m. and will take place behind the batting cages behind Schott Stadium's left field wall. The Bronco Bench Foundation and the Los Angeles Golf Tournament Committee are thrilled to announce that, 2008 NFL Super Bowl Referee, Mike Carey '71, will serve as this year's Master of Ceremonies for the LA President's Club Golf Tournament. The field will be further augmented by a number of Santa Clara's current head coaches and former student-athletes.

Santa Clara Wins West Coast Conference Commissioner's Cup

The Santa Clara University Athletic Department captured the West Coast Conference Commissioner's Cup for the second time in three years after nine top-four finishes in 13 WCC-sponsored sports during the 2006-07 seasons. The Broncos clinched the title over the weekend with a 6-5 win by the baseball team against No. 6 San Diego on Sunday, May 13.

Attention Bronco Fans: The Bronco Bench Foundation is pleased to announce the date and location for the 29th Annual Bronco Bench Foundation Golf Classic brought to you by our friends at the Heritage Bank of Commerce. This year's tournament will be particularly special as SCU and 49er great, Brent Jones '85, will be the tournament's Master of Ceremonies and the field will include legendary Broncos like Brandi Chastain, Dick Davey, Bill MacPherson, Dan Pastorini and others. Given the star-studed field and the success of the 2006 event, the BBF Golf Classic will be held at the Cinnabar Hills Golf Club on Thursday, September 6, 2007 to accommodate the much larger anticipated turnout.
